Up and coming young adult fiction writer Carla Spradbery releases her debut novel The 100 Society on September 4 with Hodder Children's Books.

The book is a dark thriller about a group of sixth form students obsessed with illegal graffiti game The 100 Society, and a sinister figure, the Reaper, who stalks central character Grace around the city. It promises to appeal to fans of Pretty Little Liars and I Know What You Did Last Summer. British author Spradbery, who's spent time working with young people in schools and as a tutor, counts Stephen King and Point Horror among her influences.
